EC&I Equipment – Encapsulation Plant 3, United Kingdom
Scope – supply and installation of electrical panels, control and instrumentation, containment and cabling. Completed to globally recognised nuclear standards, the equipment and ancillary items were installed and commissioned successfully, and without any Lost Time Accidents. Utilising the close professional relationship built with Sellafield and other contractors over the years, PPS worked in close cooperation with commissioning teams onsite to collaboratively ensure that Sellafield project milestones were achieved.

Evaporator D – Sellafield, United Kingdom
Scope – the full installation of all E&I related systems including, but not limited to, Building Evacuation, Fire Detection, VESDA & Dampers, CCTV, Building Security, Radiological, Personnel & Environmental Monitoring, Building Management System, Small Power & Lighting, General Power, UPS & Emergency Power, through wall lighting and cameras, process systems, various vent systems, ICC, package sub stations, cooling towers, diesel generators and trace heating. PPS has also provided 24 hour, 7-day “temporary” electrical supplies for the site. The installation is seismically qualified, which includes the Cable Containment System and associated bracket work. EC&I Support for Sludge Removal – Sellafield, United Kingdom
Scope – work closely with Design to establish cable routes in congested areas, successfully carry out operations within constraints surrounding a lack of storage areas (necessitating delivery of materials on a “just in time” basis) and implement a bespoke system to allow the removal of wooden cable drums from separation areas. This project requires working within a radiologically challenging building and therefore necessitates successful dose management and the ability to work closely with client teams. Thus far, PPS has been able to achieve these conditions. In addition, there have been no Lost Time Accidents and milestones have been met.
